Andrew M. Dewey
Attorney Andrew M. Dewey is
of counsel with the law firm of Letizia, Ambrose & Falls in New Haven,
Connecticut. He graduated summa cum
laude from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in
Political Science. In 1989, he received
his Juris Doctorate from the University of Connecticut School of Law. He is admitted to practice in Connecticut and
Rhode Island. His work experience
includes over twenty-two years of handling workers’ compensation cases
throughout the State of Connecticut including over twelve years as a partner at
a workers’ compensation defense firm in the Hartford area. He also has significant trial experience not
only in the workers’ compensation forum, but also in state and federal courts
successfully defending liability cases.
Attorney Dewey represents employers throughout
Connecticut in disputes before the Workers’ Compensation Commission and
Compensation Review Board. Attorney
Dewey has successfully argued appeals before the Appellate Court and the
Supreme Court of the State of Connecticut as well as before the United States
Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
He is married with four children.
