Andrew A. Cohen

Andrew A. Cohen, of counsel for Letizia, Ambrose & Falls, P.C. in New Haven.
He graduated magna cum laude from the Georgetown
University Law Center in 1986, after serving as Managing Editor of the
Georgetown Law Journal. He then clerked for U.S. District Judge Harold H.
Greene and practiced with the Washington
D.C. office of Kaye, Scholer,
Fierman, Hays & Handler, where he worked on complex civil litigation.
Since his arrival in Connecticut
in 1990, Mr. Cohen has practiced extensively in the areas of:
- Wrongful discharge
- Wage and hour
- ADA, FMLA, discrimination and the related issues
between employees and employers.
He has represented employers in court proceedings, appeals in both state and
federal courts, administrative hearings and other forums, has been primarily
responsible for appeals of important employment issues, and has been a frequent
speaker at seminars on employment law. Mr.
Cohen also has served as special master for employment cases pending in the
U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut.
Mr. Cohen serves on the board of directors of Connecticut non-profit
agencies.
