Attorney John Letizia is the managing partner in the New Haven law firm of Letizia, Ambrose & Falls and has been practicing in Connecticut since 1986. He received his undergraduate degree from St. John's University and his law degree from Georgetown University Law Center. Mr. Letizia’s practice includes healthcare, managed care, corporate matters, labor negotiations employment litigation, workers' compensation and personnel counseling. Mr. Letizia was the only lawyer to serve on the Board of the Connecticut Association for Home Care. He is also a member of the Connecticut Health Lawyer's Association. He was also on the Editorial Board for the Journal, Home Healthcare Management and Practice. Mr. Letizia was a member of the Connecticut Managed Care Task Force and former Chairman of the Subcommittee on Communications within Managed Care. He served on the Workers’ Compensation Chairman’s Legal Advisory Panel and is on CBIA’s Labor and Employment Council. Mr. Letizia represents a number of prominent clients in greater New Haven and throughout Connecticut. More than 75% of the Firm’s clients are healthcare providers and nonprofits, including hospitals, mental health agencies, home care agencies, managed care organizations, third-party administrators, utilization review companies, nursing homes, home companion agencies, physician groups, occupational health facilities and healthcare consortiums and associations. Mr. Letizia received the Legal Services Award for his pro bono work for the Domestic Violence Services of Greater New Haven. He also received the 2008 Harbor Health Services Community Partner Award in honor of his work in the behavioral health community.
